Weekly Art Classes

The studio provides a creative haven for both beginners and seasoned artists alike.

I work with a variety of mediums and tailor my approach to meet individual needs. Starting from your current skill level, we progress organically, with the ultimate goal of helping each student cultivate their unique artistic approach and style.

If you're a beginner, I'll take you through a series of small structured exercises to get to place of comfortable confidence.

Students experience the joy of gaining mastery over their mediums and are encouraged to experiment on a fluid artistic journey.

I run my group adult art classes at 2 Sydney studios:

There are two morning and two evening classes available:
Tuesday Mornings: 9:30 - 12:00
Tuesday Evenings: 18:30 - 21:00
Wednesday Mornings: 9:30 - 12:00
Wednesday Evenings: 18:30 - 21:00

Weekend Workshops

From 10:00-16:00 on a Saturday and Sunday I will host 8-10 individuals in my home studio where we will work through a colour course together, applied to your chosen subject matter (portraiture, landscape, or still life).

The course is relevant to artists of all abilities, across all mediums, from watercolour to oil and everything in between.

Lunch, coffee, tea, and snacks are provided.

BYO materials, supply list will be provided closer to the date.

Cost

Includes 12 hours of instruction over the 2 days, course theory materials, food and drinks.

Early Bird (over 6 weeks out from course start)

= $490 pp

Regular Price (within 6 weeks of course start)

= $550 pp

On Monday Evenings, I extend my classes to the Primrose Park Art and Craft Centre in Cremorne

Parking is free and easily available.
If you miss a class, you're able to catchup in one of the other classes at my St Ives Studio. (22 min drive)

Any Questions?

Everyone brings their own art supplies, however, I have everything in the studio in case of a mishap or curiosity. If you’re unsure about a new medium, I'll give you a go with mine before you decide to buy.
Bring some photos of previous work you’ve done (if you have any). If not, show me examples of work you love. For the first lesson, bring whatever art supplies you have at home, even if it's really old.
Please don't buy anything until you've seen me and we've had a chat. I'll take a look at what you've got, then I'll give you a materials list in class.
